West Cambridge College

  • MBA Fashion Design, Rivera University, Frans

Overview:
Communication Studies examines how words, images, gestures, and symbols shape and reflect human behavior. At Estudiar University, students explore how communication can influence culture, law, politics, business, and other areas where human expression plays a role. Classes often involve analyzing real-world examples, such as social media posts from public figures, to critique their medium, message, implied meanings, credibility, and cultural impact. Students then apply these insights by creating their own responses, developing practical communication skills in the process.

Career Opportunities:
Graduates pursue diverse career paths across fields such as public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, television, radio, magazines, human resources, event planning, education, nonprofits, and technology. Some graduates launch their own businesses, while others advance to graduate studies in communication, law, public health, strategic communications, or education.

Program Learning Outcomes:

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes social interactions, cultural values, political practices, power dynamics, and citizenship at local and global levels.

Apply a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday public and private interactions.

Understand the historical and contemporary possibilities and challenges of discourse and deliberation in democracy, and use this knowledge to promote a more just and humane society.
